I am writing this mad so I hope it makes sense.

DON’T GO TO DENNY’S IN ELDERSBURG MARYLAND 21784

Ok, first off when you go to Denny’s you never have high expectations. But you do expect your food to come to you in a timely manner and at least be warm. I always keep in mind that if the waiter / waitress were any good they wouldn’t be working at Denny’s in Eldersburg. So I try to except it for what it is.

So why am I writing this post…? Tonight I got home from work a little late and wife was on her way home from Lacrosse. Rather then trying to put something together for us and the kids we decided to go to Denny’s. We walked in at 7:15 and saw right a way the place was empty. Two people at the Bar and 1 table who was already eating. There were at least 3 waitresses and 2 cooks working. We thought we would get good service and have our food out quick. We ordered our food at 7:20 and at 7:35 we saw our food sitting in the pickup window. At 7:55 our food was still sitting in the pickup window. So I asked my waitress if there was a reason our food was getting nasty in the pickup window. She said she was just waiting on our Cheese Fries… I said, “Really your going to let all out food get cold while you wait for our app”? She said it should only be a few more minutes. I laughed and said forget about the Cheese Fries and just bring the food.

When the food arrived the food was cold and nasty as we expected from sitting for over a 1/2 hour. She said let me get the manager. He comes to the table and said he would give us a discount. When we got the bill we saw that he removed the drinks. Whatever I didn’t expect it to be free. BUT the cheese Fries we never received were still on the bill. So I said to the waitress the cheese fries are still on the bill. She said, I know but we took off the drinks. I asked to speak with the manager again. They looked for 2 minutes and said he could not be found. So we ended up getting less then $1 off the bill.
