Getting Customers to buy from your website
Getting Customers to buy from your website can be tricky. Did you know most sales are lost in the shopping cart? What this tell me is that the potential customer had doubts on weather or not they would receive there product. Everyone knows if you charge too much for something no one will buy it, right. But did you know it can also work the other way? Too good to be true usually is right? It you are buying something for a dollar that everyone is selling for $30, don’t sell it for $10. Selling it for $20 to $27 would get you more sales and much more money. Here are a few more tips for Getting Customers to buy from your website.
1.) Make it easy for your potential customers to contact you. Offer up a phone number and a contact form on your website. Make sure it is easy to find. DO NOT put your email address directly on your website. Web bot spammers with grab it and spam the heck out of you.
2.) Have a refund and return policy on your website. Don’t hide it. Make sure people can find it quickly.
3.) Get a website security certificate (SSL). You know what I mean? (https://) Get an SSL Even if you are using PayPal to accept website payments. Display this information on your website. A customer is much more likely to buy from a website they trust. SSL helps to build customer trust.
4.) Remove anything that looks like a scam. LARGE TEXT looks scammy. Too many adds on a website may also look like a scam.
5.) Do a test order from your own website. Is it easy and quick?
